Today we're going to review part number PAL2500. This is the Pop & Lock Custom Manual Tailgate Lock. Now, this is a custom fit part number. It is designed to fit the foreign trucks without the factory power locks starting in 1997. Now, on any custom fit part, what I would recommend is go to our website, use our fit guide, put in your year and model of vehicle and it will show you if this part will work for your application. Now this is a keyed tailgate lock which will discourage theft of your cargo and even of your tailgate. Helps creates secure storage for your valuables when used with a tonneau cover or truck-bed cap.
It's a tough, armored steel lock which will resist tampering. It is customized for your vehicle. This part will integrates into your OEM handle, gives you that factory look. It has a raised lock, as you can see right here for quick key access. It's a very easy installation, there's no drilling or welding required.
It just only uses basic tools to install. It does include everything showing here on the table. Includes the lock assembly, included the striker plate, includes the alcohol wipe which is used to clean where you're going to attach the striker plate to. Includes the two keys and also a nice set of detailed instructions to help you with he installation. Basically how you would .. just put your key in, and you'll be able to see as you turn it.
